Planning:
The first step in creating your customized Extended Team is to design
the proper composition and structure of such a team. BridgeQuest
will work with you in the planning phases of this initiative to assess
and understand your unique needs in terms of the size of the team,
composition of the team, and the required skill set.
Team Structure: BridgeQuest
offers personnel with specific skills that are targeted to all levels
of a traditional software development team: project managers, senior and junior
developers, quality assurance specialists and technical writers.
Team Building:
After we jointly design a proper structure for your team, BridgeQuest
will present a collection of resumes that provide
a selection of qualified candidates for each of the targeted positions.
You will have full control in deciding on the individual members
of your team. After your team is constructed, BridgeQuest will endeavor
to maintain continuity in your team for the duration of your engagement
or until you decide any member of the team is not right for your
needs. Long-term assignment of the dedicated offshore staff will
ensure one-time only transfer of knowledge.
Streamlined Communications:
We strongly believe that one of the key requirements in maintaining
a successful extended team is the presence of a dedicated United
States based project manager who will effectively bridge your local
development lab with the offshore team. In some instances the project
manager will be on-site at your facility. Additionally, to further
facilitate team communications and interactions, we offer an on-site
presence of our offshore staff on a rotating basis.
Operations: You
will operate your Extended Team as a natural extension of your own
on-site staff. You will have full control over the on going project
structure, timeframes, phases, and deliverables, as well as task
assignments. Our United States based project manager will facilitate
proper communications flow with the offshore team using daily conference
calls (or as needed), weekly status reports, and quarterly customer
satisfaction surveys. You will have full transparency into performance
of each individual staff member of your extended team. As your project
needs grow or decline you will have the option to adjust the size
of the team accordingly.
Process: Each
BridgeQuest software development team is professionally trained in modern software
development processes, which meet the international standards of
planning, management, and quality assurance. We are extremely proficient
in various development methodologies, source control management,
defect tracking, and test automation processes. However, we realize
that this is your development process, and you will control
the development methodology and process that best suit your objectives
and your needs. We will insure that our software development staff diligently
follows your established process. In other words, you call the shots
every step of the way.
